The first blog was a full-detailed state-by-state analysis of how people voted and on what issues they voted in large numbers.
The second blog was an analysis of why the BJP lost seats. What were the mistakes it committed that cost them a loss on seats?
The third one is on the new NDA government formed. And what are the new policies that we can hope for and who were given cabinet berths?
The fourth blog was about the future of the INDI alliance and the opposition. And how they play a major role in the parliament by being the people's voice.
Now, since the elections are over, we voted, we got the results, the government is formed and we know the new ministers and their portfolios. So let's just go and do our work.
WELL GUYS, OUR WORK JUST STARTED.
I want to tell you a tiny story. A friend of mine came to meet me after a long time. And you know boys right, some part of our conversation suddenly diverted to politics and government. We did discuss the election issue. Then he said one thing and I quote
"Anyways bro, our work is done. We have voted and now politicians won't care about us and the government will ignore major issues as always."
Now this struck me for a while and also made me introspect. I voted on 19th April and just one day before I was just thinking about whom to vote. After the results, I know who is my MP. My work is technically over.
I thought that I was expecting a lot from the government. And when I talk about how the government is not hearing issues, how local corporations, my MLA, and my MP are not working to develop my area, and how all the parties are corrupt, I realize that it's not their mistake. It's kind of my mistake.
Why suddenly start a blog post on December 2023 when you had 5 years to start with? We complain about the government on how ineffective it is forgetting that it is us that allowed the government or any other institution for that matter to work ineffectively.
Did we even voice out against the establishment when things were not good?
(RANT INCOMING)
Just think about it. What are we doing as the youth of the nation? The youth should put all their efforts into succeeding in life, we want to fulfill our dreams and ask questions when things are not going right, we are wasting our time on unnecessary things like scrolling Instagram, and fighting in X on stupid things.
Well did the youth who are going through massive unemployment ever asked the government why our unemployment rate is at its 45-year high? Why youths are not interested in finding jobs?
Why our schools and colleges are not executing the NEP 2020 which will improve schools and colleges' quality and teach new syllabi that will make us industry-ready and employable?
There are thousands of paper leak scams. UP constable post exam, Rajasthan, Telangana, Bihar public service exams, Assam and West Bengal teacher recruitment scam, Haryana police recruitment, Odisha engineering entrance scam, and now the new NEET paper leak? Minister of Education, Dharmendra Pradhan who is newly elected now, is saying there is no paper leak scam. Can't we voice out that?
The government promised that it would double the income of the farmers. Did they? Instead, they removed MSP. When farmers protested, they were attacked, name called Khalistanis. Diversification of crops should happen. Instead, farmers are still confined by huge loans that they are unable to repay.
I see a lot of stories on Instagram when Women's Day comes and people urge women to work. Very good, this is a good move, as the women workforce should increase. But the women workforce is decreasing day by day. In a survey conducted by NPR, a news organization, women are quitting their jobs citing safety. When are we going to make a society in which a woman can work even at late night without any fear?
What are the governments whether state or center doing in the field of sports. We take pride when our Olympic people and athletes win medals for our country, but at the same time cuss them when they are protesting against a person who has serious charges.
When Manipur was burning, instead of resolving things the government had made things worse there. It has been one year since the conflict started. Ladakh, Uttarakhand, Sikkim, Arunachal Pradesh, and Himachal Pradesh are going through a climate emergency. When locals and people are protesting, the government completely ignores it?
Why the government is taxing the middle class so much. In the last three years' budget, the government had nothing to offer the middle class. Inflation in the rural areas is at its peak. Rich people don't have much difficulty in giving tax but it's us who suffer.
Road accidents are increasing day by day. Chennai is the worst affected in terms of road accidents. Mumbai can be renamed as the "City of Potholes". Drainage problems in Calcutta. Air quality index and hospitals are closed in Delhi. We call them as metro cities.
Railways are crowded and no safety measures are taken.
There are 10 lakhs of job vacancies in government jobs itself when is that going to be filled?
Wait. Don't blame the center for this. The states are equally responsible for this.
Kerala is in its worst economic crisis. Andhra Pradesh is now facing a debt crisis as it drained all of its money in freebies. Gujarat performs poorly in Social Indicators.

Leave all these aside, we aren't even asking our local corporations, our MLA, or our MPs when we don't get our public facilities.
Until we open our mouths and ask no one is going to give us what we require. See, I'm not asking you to come to streets and protest. Nor fight with people on social media.
REQUEST:
Just make sure you are aware of what's happening in your nearby area. If roads are not laid properly complain to the corporations. If the corporations don't listen to you, go to the MLA. If the MLA doesn't, go to the MP. Ask your MP and MLA whether they are using their funds properly. Initially, they won't listen to you, but if you have the right intention, everything can be done. Don't give up and voice for your area. Educate your parents, neighbors, and friends who are seeing that toxic 9'o'clock news and are surrounded by the propaganda of politicians or who are not aware of governance.
You can support any party you want. But when it comes to the matter of governance, administration and promises, be neutral. Read and research the policy and make your opinions.
Newspapers, digital sources which does ground reporting, genuine Youtube videos are very good sources to start with.
If we want the change, we need to be the change guys. It's high time we come together, so that we can see a better nation.
Few days ago, or maybe one week ago, I saw stories of people talking about Rafah, then Hindus in Pakistan, or Reasi.
Why don't with that same energy and anger ask the government a few things? Well, for me (I didn't post anything) whether its Rafah, Reasi or Hindus in Pakistan, all the events must be condemned.
I will also give you a warning. Your parents will advice not to talk about politics in public. People from various IT cells will troll you if you question them.
But don't be afraid. If you don't do it now, you can never do it again.
I'm not asking you to go to streets, nor I'm asking you to fight in social media nor I'm asking you to write a blog like mine. I'm just requesting you to educate the people around you and make an awareness that's it. Educate yourself and educate others.
I want my readers to think about this after reading this.
Thanks for reading.

Dear Readers,
I started this blog just as a hobby in December 2023. I never expected or even dreamt of reaching 1.3 k people views. I'm just happy that you guys are taking your time and reading this. Share this blog with as many people as you can. This is just a small contribution to make this country a better one.
But as my responsibilities in college are increasing day-by-day I don't have much time to write blogs and unfortunately I will barely have time to write. So, I will now onwards write one blog per month where I cover all the news whether national or regional and kind of explain nuances of it.
You can except this blog to be posted at the end of every month. (Some delays can be there so apologies for that).
Thank you for your unwaivering support.
